The Shawna Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) Arts Non-Profit named after Shawna Shea, who passed away at the age of 16. The mission of The Shawna Foundation is to equitably promote and support students through scholarship and showcase artists in filmmaking, performance arts, poetry and other creative endeavors with a focus on underrepresented communities.

Amazing Fantasy Fest, "Buffalo's Festival of Imaginative Cinema," now in its 16th year, is one of Western New York's longest running film festivals. AFF showcases the best independent Horror, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Action, Animation, and Experimental films on the planet at Dipson's Amherst Theatre every September.
